Kate Middleton is determined to live a normal life.
The mom-to-be was recently spotted strolling through Kensington Garden with her dog Lupo while on her way to a local Starbucks, Us Weekly reported. Proof that royalty won’t stand in her way of a good snack.
Security reportedly remained close by and even waited with Middleton’s pup outside the coffee shop as she ordered a decaf latte and cookie.
"Her hair was done nicely and she had a scarf, lovely long coat and boots on," an onlooker told the magazine. "She was wrapped up warm, so I couldn't see the bump."
The insider also added that Middleton “paid with a Starbucks card, which she swiped herself.â€
The Duchess of Cambridge previously expressed to Vanity Fair that royal life can be rather stressful with up to five changes of clothes a day. After all, the former commoner had a lot to take on when she bagged the world’s most eligible prince.
A friend of the royal couple told VF, “Kate was on the King’s Road not so long ago carrying a shopping bag with a chicken in it that she was taking home to cook for William’s supper. That’s their idea of the perfect night.â€
