Bill Clinton: Hillary will live to be 120

Forget Hillary Clinton’s pesky blood clot â€" she’s healthy enough to live at least another half-century, husband and former president Bill Clinton said.

“I tell her that, you know, she’s still got time to have three more husbands after me,” Bill Clinton said Tuesday at a health conference in La Quinta, Calif.

“So, I think she’ll live to be 120.”

Bill Clinton joked that Hillary refers to him as her “first husband.”

He talked up his wife’s good health, despite a recent scare in which the outgoing Secretary of State was hospitalized for a dangerous blood clot near her brain, two weeks after she fainted and suffered a concussion.

Before that, 65-year-old Hillary Clinton had only been hospitalized once â€" when she gave birth to daughter Chelsea, he said.

“She’s always been very, very healthy and she has very low blood pressure, very low standing heartbeat,” Bill Clinton said.

He was addressing the possibility of his wife’s run for president in 2016 at the Clinton Foundation’s Health Matters conference.

“My advice is that she should rest up and decide what she wants to do with the rest of her life,” Bill Clinton said, adding that Hillary is “the most gifted public servant I’ve ever known.”
