Barbara Walters was injured during a fall Sunday at the British Ambassador's residence in Washington D.C.
ABC News’ Barbara Walters is still hospitalized while she recovers from an inauguration weekend tumble she took down a flight of stairs.
Walters, 83, was injured her head at the British Amabassador’s residence in Washington D.C. when she tripped and suffered a gash on her upper temple in the fall.

"I am running a low grade fever and the doctors are keeping me in the hospital until my temperature is normal. I'm pleased to say that it is going in the right direction and I will be home soon,"Walters said in a statement read by Whoopi Goldberg on Tuesday’s edition of “The View.â€
The veteran journalist also said she wanted to "thank all the people who have called, written and been concerned about me."
