Burt Reynolds felled by flu: report

The man with the famous mustache is receiving treatment in a Florida hospital for a severe case of the flu.

TMZ reports that Burt Reynolds, 76, was coping with flu symptoms for several days before heading to seek treatment.

The “Smokey and the Bandit” star is expected to pull through just fine.

Doctors put Reynolds in the Intensive Care Unit when they found him to be “severely dehydrated,” a representative for the actor said.

It’s only the latest in a series of woes for the veteran thespian.
