Jennifer Lawrence, who won, and Bradley Cooper were both nominated at the Golden Globes for their performances in “Silver Linings Playbook." The actors attend the 13th Annual AFI Awards at Four Seasons Los Angeles  in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Jan. 11.

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are adamant they aren’t dating, despite their crazy on-screen chemistry and rumors of romance.

"No, no, no, no, no. Not even close. First of all, I could be her father. No, I'm kidding. But no, not even close,” Cooper, 38, said when asked by Entertainment Tonight if he and his “Silver Linings Playbook” co-star were an item.

“We've done two movies together. If it didn't happen by now, it's not going to happen,” he told ET on the red carpet of the 2013 Golden Globes on Sunday night.

"She's amazing, but no," Bradley Cooper said of rumors he's dating two-time co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

The rumor mill surrounding the two shifted into overdrive when news broke last week that Lawrence, 22, had split from her boyfriend of two years, Nicholas Hoult.

Cooper and his actress squeeze Zoe Saldana reportedly broke up for a second time just before the holidays.

Saldana, 34, and Cooper were co-stars in “The Words." They initially split in March 2012 after three months of dating but rekindled their romance last fall, Us Magazine reported.

Cooper said Sunday he was very fond of Lawrence but that there was no love story unfolding behind the scenes.

"I love her to death," he said of the “Hunger Games” heroine. "She's amazing, but no."

Lawrence later laughed at the denial.

"True. I agree. I concur,” she told ET when informed of Cooper’s remarks.

She also said she was battling a 100-degree fever to attend the awards extravaganza.

“It’s the flu,” she told ET before heading inside to hang with Cooper for much of the show. “I had the doctor come over and give me a shot of something in my butt today and tell me I had the flu.”

Lawrence went on to win Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her performance in “Silver Linings Playbook,” beating out Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, Emily Blunt and Maggie Smith.

Cooper snagged a Best Actor nomination for his work in the David O. Russell film but lost to Hugh Jackman, who won for “Les Miserables.”
