The Dutch TV hosts suffered through tremendous pain in their attempt to feel what women feel during childbirth.

Two Dutch TV hosts were not content simply sympathizing with women over labor pains â€" they apparently wanted to empathize.

Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno received shocks to their abdomens in a controlled experiment to simulate the agony of giving birth on their program “Proefkonijnen” (Guinea Pigs).

People will question how much the sensations of giving birth can be recreated through such as experiment, but the TV personalities certainly underwent a lot of pain.

Electrodes sent charges into the presenters’ bodies that were intended to cause cramps as excruciating as the contractions of childbirth, according to Belgian based news outlet RTL.be.

The electrodes sent painful shocks to their midsections.

The men reportedly received the shocks for two hours as they groaned and yelled, coiling up into a fetal position and clutching their pillows.

The two women who administered the shocks were calm and collected as they explained the process and led Storm and Zeno through the experiment. Then they gave the men a baby doll and pink cookies after the anguish ceased.

Despite the hurt, Storm and Zeno claimed that the day spent shooting the episode was one of the best of the season.

Storm and Zeno are known for performing outlandish stunts on their program. On a previous episode, they claimed to have eaten chunks of each other’s flesh to figure out what human flesh tastes like.
