Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett share a deep friendship on and off the stage.
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are set to make beautiful music together.
Mama Monster confirmed on Twitter that the duo will collaborate on an album.
The news comes right after the superstars performed together at an inaugural ball in Washington, D.C., for President Obamaâs campaign staff, where 26-year-old Gaga tweeted a picure of the pair with the caption, âHereâs me and my handsome date.â
This wonât be the first time Bennett, 86, and the pop star get together in harmony.
For Tony Bâs âDuets IIâ album released last year, the two recorded âThe Lady is a Tramp,â the song they also performed at the ball.
Back in 2011 Bennett had nothing but kind words to say about his dear friend.
âSheâs the biggest. Iâll tell you, I never met anyone with more talent than that lady,â he told MTV News at the time.
Gaga posted several twitpics from the grand event stating, âI had the most amazing evening with The President, First Lady & The Whitehouse staff.â
The pop-star, who will release her new album âARTPOPâ later this year, is excited about working with the legendary singer although thereâs no telling when music fans will get a first listen.
âI simply cannot wait for our album together, heâs my darling,â she added.
