Putin has been vocal about his plans to up the Russian birth rate.

In his latest effort to counteract the flagging Russian birthrate, President Vladimir Putin is bringing in a little help: R&B singers Boyz II Men.

According to The Moscow Times, the trio, most famous for their 1990s hits "End of the Road" and "I'll Make Love to You," will use their dulcet tones to nudge Russian citizens in the right direction during a February 6th concert in Moscow.

Though it's unclear how directly Putin was involved in contacting the group, his previous policy initiatives make the move seem not that far-fetched.

Putin has long been vehement in calling for Russian's to participate in more family-building. In 2007, he started a program that gave women $ 9,000 for having another child.

Thanks to the initiative, the fertility rate in the country has jumped.

The show, just ahead of Valentine's Day, is part of a world tour for Boyz II Men.
