She's Swiftly going out of Styles

Serial dater Taylor Swift has reportedly moved on from One Direction singer Harry Styles, with whom she’d been briefly linked last spring and then more seriously tied to in November. That’s when things got hot and heavy before finally going up in flames just before last weekend.

The pop-star pair seemed inseparable when they shared a midnight kiss after Swift’s New Year’s Eve appearance in Times Square, just before they jetted off to the island of Virgin Gorda. According to businessinsider.com, that’s where things went south for the 23-year-old country crooner and her 18-year-old boy-band flame.

Following a “heated argument” on the island, Swift was quickly on a plane heading back to the U.S. on Friday, earlier than scheduled.

With Swift in flight, Styles hopped over to billionaire Richard Branson’s nearby Necker Island to party his troubles away before reportedly returning solo to Virgin Gorda.

The couple appear to have been an on-and-off thing throughout 2012. In March they were introduced to each other at the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards. In April, Justin Bieber revealed in an interview that one of the world's biggest recording artists had a thing for Styles.

But last summer, Swift started a seasonal fling with 18-year-old Conor Kennedy, which ended in October. Around that time, Styles told an interviewer that Swift is “a really lovely girl. Honestly, she couldn’t be a sweeter person. She’s a great girl and she’s extremely talented.”

In November, when Swift made a guest appearance on “The X Factor,” Styles showed up to see her. The show’s host, Mario Lopez, claimed that backstage he saw them “walking off hand in hand.”

The two were seen together often, including one wild week in New York City when they both performed at Z100’s Jingle Ball before hitting the town for a late night of karaoke. They also went on a date to the Central Park Zoo.

While it remains unclear what Swift and Styles were arguing about, Swift tweeted on Saturday “ ’til you put me down,” which is a line from her song “Trouble.”

Considering her long history of short relationships, it’s a good bet she’ll soon be back in the saddle. In addition to two- to three-month relationships with Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner, she also briefly dated singer John Mayer, who’s said to have inspired her 2010 breakup hit “Dear John.”

Swift is probably sitting at home with her banjo right now trying to think of words that rhyme with Harry. Reps for Swift and Styles declined to comment.

This season’s “Bachelor” is going to be the least sexual yet. No ocean skinny-dipping, no crazy hookups or sleeping with multiple contestants. The series’ latest hunk, Sean Lowe, whose Twitter bio includes a quote from him stating “I love Jesus,” is a born-again virgin who does not have sex with any of the women this season. “It’s well known in the ‘Bachelor’ circle that he doesn’t have sex,” says a source who knows Lowe. “But he’s so charming and so polite. It’s a different kind of show this time around because he’s super-religious. He does party, but he also does Bible readings.”
